ULTRA Series thin-film optical interference filters and coatings are all designed and rigorously tested in order to raise the most advanced optics-based instruments to their highest potential. Our ULTRA Series bandpass and notch filters increase system performance through a combination of precision wavelength control, ultra-steep edges, deep blocking, and the industry's highest transmission levels. Our dichroic filters and dielectric mirrors preserve the intensity of any light source by providing broadband or precision reflection and transmission with exceptionally steep transitions between bands.
ULTRA Series thin films are all highly durable, thermally stable, and resistant to laser damage. They can all be custom designed to provide precision transmission, absorption, or reflection at any range of wavelengths from the UV to the IR (~250 nm to 6.2 µm). Whether your system requires extreme flatness, a large AOI tolerance, TWE control, or any other challenging specifications, ULTRA Series optical filters and mirrors can be custom designed and manufactured to exceed these requirements and optimize system performance.
Quality and consistency from an innovative thin-film coating process
Alluxa thin-film optical interference filters and dielectric mirrors are all hard-coated using our SIRRUS™ plasma deposition process on equipment that was designed and built by our team. This allows us to reliably and repeatedly produce the same high-performance optical thin films over several different coating runs, which translates to consistent performance across all of your systems.
